Yoga Bunny

Yoga bunny

Morning yoga routine.  I own you, downward dog.

Sidenote:  What the what is upward dog? There is nothing dog-like about this pose.  Does anyone else call it Cobra… or did I invent that?

p.s. more yoga talk

Ha, my dog totally stretches in both the downward AND upward dog pose. Totally dog-like ;)

hey doll.. good to see you're doing yoga! :) I'm a yoga instructor and I shared this image with my students on our yoga facebook group, the bunnies are so cute.. as for your question, try reading yogajournal.com.. you'll see the poses and how to get to them.. upward dog is with pushing the ground with your hands so you can lift up the torso and legs and only the upper side of your feet stay on the ground, shoulders back, neck long... Cobra on the other hand, is kind of similar but the legs are touching the ground too.. and not the entire torso gets lift up only the upper chest and shoulders and head.. and the arms are not straight, they are bent.. did I explain myself? ha.. keep up the yoga!

I think technically, this is the 'downward bunny' not the downward dog. ;)
