This cartoon made me laugh…. but then I read about how Dusty the Dolphin’s boisterous activity has led to serious injuries for swimmers in County Clare, Ireland. Irish journalists are making Dusty out to be a criminal with headlines like ‘Dolphin attacks fourth swimmer in a month’ and ‘Diver claims Dusty tried to drown her’. A little unfair. Poor Dusty!

Whales are one of my favorites. Have you ever been to the Natural History museum in New York? They have a life size blue whale suspended from the ceiling in one of the rooms, and it is amazing. I walked around for a day saying "THE WHAAAALE" with accompanying jazz hands. xo
