More things to be happy about (17)

Novelty toilet seats;  strangers who furnish meticulous directions;  finding the simple solution;  Blues clubs;  vague plans for the future;  book-lined dining rooms;  a hedgehog in the garden;  colourful teacups and saucers;  lost wallets posted to their owners;  when the carnival comes to town;  warning TV characters of impending danger;  golden retrievers;  the juice found in the baby-food aisle;  heading to the beach with warm blankets and a flask of tea;  fillet steak;  turning off all the lights except those on the Christmas tree;  lots of space on the dance-floor;  fresh herbs in the kitchen;  carpet shampoo;  shops that sell sweets by the quarter.

Can't beat an old fashioned sweetie shop. And fillet steak is probably my favourite meal, ever. We should meet up next time you're back in Ireland and be carnivorous together! xo

Great post - I'd forgotten about the juice in the baby-food aisle - delicious! Old-fashioned sweet shops too - very few around.
