What to do when lost

US Forest Service safety flyer 1946

A U.S. Forest Service safety flyer from 1946 unintentionally offers general wisdom for troubling times: Don’t yell, don’t run, don’t worry and above all, don’t quit.

Wise words to live by!

I'm carrying this around just in case I get lost. That way I won't 'lose my mind' in panic...

Of course, that's why I've got GPS on my cell... lol! ;)

In other words, keep calm and carry on. This was interesting to read. I want to see the rest now.

It would let me post mg comment earlier so here goes!
I wish this was posted and given to campers everywhere! Here in Cali it's clamping season (Yosemite and Joshua Tree are nearby) and I've already seen the news about the missing people at Yosemite. Even if you had a cell/gps- often there is no reception so it's of no use:(
