What to do when lost

US Forest Service safety flyer 1946

A U.S. Forest Service safety flyer from 1946 unintentionally offers general wisdom for troubling times: Don’t yell, don’t run, don’t worry and above all, don’t quit.

  1. I'm carrying this around just in case I get lost. That way I won't 'lose my mind' in panic...

Of course, that's why I've got GPS on my cell... lol! ;)

  11. It would let me post mg comment earlier so here goes!
I wish this was posted and given to campers everywhere! Here in Cali it's clamping season (Yosemite and Joshua Tree are nearby) and I've already seen the news about the missing people at Yosemite. Even if you had a cell/gps- often there is no reception so it's of no use:(
